So many of your names are so imaginative! I've enjoyed reading about them all. We haven'y got a name for our MH yet, but I noticed the other day that the DH calls it a 'her'. What's up with that?

As we've been getting older and watching our parents in (what's known as) their retirement, it became painfully obvious that our dreams of owning a houseboat when we retired would probably be dashed to bits BECAUSE OF retirement... SO, 4 years ago we sold our home of 24 years (and hopefully not too much of our souls) and bought our SkipperLiner. I still have to work, but during the summer we live on the boat. We haven't regretted that decision a bit. The same theory is why we just bought the Allegro--
So, because we've decided to do "retirement stuff" as much as possible while still working, it reminded me of the phrase (and movie) "Pay it Forward"... And while a whole lot of "paying" has been done, it's all so that we can "play"...so it came to us that we're "PLAYING it forward"!
So we decided to rename the houseboat "PLAY IT FORWARD".
And the Allegro-- "PLAY IT FORWARD II"

Never really thought about a name for ours, but my wife calls it a "Lawn Ornament". We both work and obviously don't use it as much as we would like. John H...
