Bud's the name
Part of why we were able to purchase the Airstream was the passing of my in-laws last year. They both had long, and fruitful lives.
"Bud" was my father-in-law's family nickname. Thank God we didn't name it after my mother-in-law. Never speak ill of the dead.....
He would have loved it. That is, both the motor-home life, and the fact that we named it after him.

How about "Home", because I am moving near New Orleans next weekend and will be staying in it until I decide where I want to live. I never thought about giving her a name. RoseyVera maybe?

Ours is simply called "Roadhouse" it either to our roadhouse, or going to the roadhouse.

I'm really glad to see this discussion continuing on!
A woman my wife works with is a tent camper and a real rough it one with an invalid husband, how they do it I'll never know but they even kyak to boot.
Anyway when the subject comes up between the two she always asks my wife if we were out in the Merriott on Wheels!
I just call it the Queen Mary!

Moby
Moby was my Golden Retriever I had for 14 years. I never went anywhere without him. Now, being a full-timer, I still don't go anywhere without him. He would have loved the motorhome.

My first MH was a 1992 36 ft. Airstream Landyahct and it was named MY BOAT. Now I own a 2002 Monaco Windsor and been full timing for about 6 years so it's R HOME as is reflected on the license plate. Nothing cute but works for us and takes as much if not more maintenance than a stick home!

Ours is named Gloria, have a look at the Pictures.
Gloria was Mostly White, MH is Mostley White
Gloria was strong, MH is strong
Gloria was Low to the ground, MH is low to the ground.
They both have a great flat face
And you never wanted to Trade Winds with Gloria.
Gloria is gone, but her name lives on whenever we travel.
Dick
