Naming your RV
My husband and I tent camped for most of our lives. We called our tent "The Hilton." Once we retired, we bought our first small Class C motorhome which we called "The Hollis Hilton." Now that we have a small 27 ft. Class A, we need a different name. Also, we now prefer to not use the "Hilton" moniker because of Paris and her "Bad behavior." Any suggestions? Have any of you named your RV, travel trailer, or Fifth Wheel? If so, what nick name do you use?

We call ours Grumpy. We bought it from the DWs brother and that's what he called it. We have a couple of figurines of the Disney Grumpy in the MH.

We refer to our Puma as "the Big Kitty."

We named ours Selah which we also use as our login; Selah, me and Selah2, DW
Selah is a Hebrew word meaning to pause and reflect. Seemed appropriate as that's why we are full time now. To see and experience this great land; pause to not just see but to take in the beauty and to reflect on how fortunate we are to be able to do this.
Of course there has has been a couple of times I've called it other things but I won't go into that right now

Our vintage VW camper is called the "Backroads Wanderer" for two reasons - 1) we prefer to travel the backroads rather than the sterile highway, and 2) we'd likely be killed on the highway driving at ~62mph (it's top speed now that it's 40 years old) by someone on their phone doing 85
We have not named our popup yet, but I expect that at some point it will earn a moniker

No use to name one - likely it will not come when you call it.

Never saw a reason to name something that can't answer either.

We call ours "home" or "the house" as that is where we live. The car is known as "the car" the Harley is known as "the bike"

We call ours "The Bounder." (And coincidentally, our toad is called "The Jeep.")
ETA--there have been a few previous threads on RV names. Here's some light reading.... http://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/whats...me-107420.html
