Need to find a sewer hose that fits out the wet bay opening

Hi. The floor of my wet bay has an opening directly below the sewer opening which is a threaded circular opening with a cap that can be put on to seal the wet bay when traveling. I bought a camco “rhinoflex” hose, but the “heavy duty” fitting at the end is just a slightly larger diameter than the wet bay opening. So I cannot leave the hose attached and rather need to open the door to the wet bay and attach the hose each time, plus the hose needs to make a nearly 90 turn immediately and even go up a bit to get over the raised lip of the wet bay door. Anyone have this problem and know of a compatible sewer hose? Thanks! Matt.

Solution may be to replace the floor opening, with the next larger size ; they come from a marine application and mine has room to spare around the rhinoflex .

EDIT: Google " Marine round inspection hatch with cover " available up to 8" dia.

I ground the ears off my rhino flex fitting so it would fit.

That is what I use.

I tried to convert to Rhino but had the same problem of the end being too big.

I cut off the hose on the big end and spliced in a smaller connector. However it leaked and I was never able to get it to the point it wouldn't leak after a few uses so I went back to my Blueline.

MattyA-

I looked at your user profile and saw that you own a Winnebago Forza. So, I put in a Web search of the form:

f101 Forza "sewer hose" site:irv2.com

This searches iRV2.com for the terms "Forza" and "sewer hose, restricting the search to the Winnebago forum (f101).

Two threads from that search may be of interest to you:

Forza Sewer Hose
Hose reel (mainly for the picture in the first post)

To eliminate the need to look at your user profile, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

i got a 2 foot hose from cw, the small end will go thru the hole and then connect your hose to it, problem solved. i think the small hose is a viper or a rhino.

Does the opening on your dump valve rotate down toward the hole. Mine does. You can rotate it up and down.

Great idea, I thought about this this but I'm not a DIY person. I maintain a running punch-list and and will put it on my list for when I take the coach out of winter storage. Ideally that's the long term solution to the problem.

Not sure how that works because those four protruding plastic pieces are what lock into the sewer opening of the coach. I will have a look when I see the coach this weekend and see if I'm missing something.

I bought a 90 that attaches to the sewer line and goes through the opening. I attach the sewer hose to this. About $10 for the fitting.

I purchased a straight 12" plastic sewer extension and it clears the bay opening by about an inch. This allows me to connect under the coach and I like it because I can "see" what I'm dumping (as well as the flow volume). Works for me. I think it was less than $20 on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/Camco-39572-C...h+clear&sr=8-2
