New and “Improved” earthquake putty

Al least that’s what the ad claimed. Was in Camping World for basic stuff. Wife needed some of that pladough stuff to keep items from sliding off table and shelves. Saw a clear container of clear “stuff” decided to try it. Looks like RTV silicone with no tint ar all. Unfortunately when applied to a picture frame and stuck to a table top, this krap turns to a runny liquid that is almost impossible to clean up. Doesn’t hold either! Wish I had retained the packaging to better warn future victims.

Have been using Museum Wax for years and it holds great and does not melt and leave a mess.

Since you couldn't identify the name or a picture, at least go online to CW and write that review warning.

They probably have it on amazon. They have clear museum wax aka quake putty, the one I saw looked like it had 3 parts.

I got regular putty off amazon. Cant imagine how expensive it was at CW. https://www.amazon.com/Quakehold-881...ar+quake+putty
