New Awning

When i purchased My 97 Southwind the main awning was missing I am just finishing up the other improvements and now looking for a new awning.
A Manual one is fine has anyone purchased one from Alevo.
I have to buy a complete setup even the arms were missing.

I'm probably the only one that does not use the awning. I probably would not replace?

I just looked at the Aleko site and found it interesting. I have not run across an awning by them but am familiar with those from Carefree and also A&E/Dometic. I'll be interested to hear more if you buy from them.

I would recommend just going with a manual awning, we had one on our Class C and it was pretty much bullet proof. I believe it was an A&E. We have a motorized one on our Class A, a Carefree of Colorado One-Touch, which is pretty much useless as it cannot be out in any type of wind.

I actually bought a new RV 50 amp cord from Aleko that they had listed on EBAY, it was a very good price. The transaction went great, I had a question about the conductor size which they quickly answered. I placed the order and it was promptly shipped and I received.

Beware though, there are a lot of bogus sites popping up. Prior to this I had found a replacement cord on a different site that turned out to be a scam. I placed the order and could not get confirmation of order or shipping. I should have checked closer as the site did not have valid contact information. Luckily I had placed the order using Paypal and was refunded my money. I now pay closer attention.

We have a new acrylic fabric awning ordered from Stone Vos! We would prefer a manual awning but ours is motorized as well. Their fabrics are remarkable and the best warranty out there!

I installed an 12v electric Aleko. The first motor I got had a faulty gear or something and stopped working even when manually cranking, although it's possible that manual use before I connected the electric wore it out. Their customer service was difficult to contact, but eventually they sent me a replacement and it has worked since.
