Being new to this forum and motorhomes I am posting this on here to get "expert" opinions. I just purchased my new MH 6 days ago when I spotted this. The first photo is in the wheel-well of the drivers side, the second of the passenger side. I have enclosed, heated tanks and I am keeping my brand name anonymous for a reason.
Any and all opinions are appreciated.

My guess is that you have a leak in one of your tanks that froze as it cooled and built up enough to force the distortion. Water expands as it turns to ice.

deffinitely further investigation is needed. I would take it back the the dealer and have them take care of the problem right away. Get al the pictures you can and make good documentation to all you speak with.

The speed you get to the dealer and make your claim is important. Faster than ASAP is best. Once the claim is made the clock stops ticking for the dealer or mfg to reject your claim.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't think this was normal, but wasn't sure. I have already e-mailed the dealership and will call them tomorrow. My thought is that something happened to one of my tanks (perhaps froze), they cut open my basement, then patched over it. I definitely will not accept it the way it is.

Man that is not right. For dealers to sell MH like that.

I have an appointment this weekend to have it looked at. Hopefully they will be honest with me. I will post when I find out more.

You may already have a problem. The dealer sold it to you that way, and that alone makes me think you should not expect too much from him.
