New to iRV2: Newmar vs Entegra

We currently have an Allegro Red and are looking to move to an Entegra Aspire or Newmar Ventana or Dutch Star. We have driven 2018 models of all 3. The Aspire is amazingly quiet but doesn't have Comfort Drive. We really loved the 'CD' on both the Ventana and Dutch Star but all of the Newmar units we drove had squeaks at the passenger door/window and the cabinetry above the window. I know Newmar makes a nice product, but are these squeaks 'normal'? This would drive us crazy driving down the road. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Both make good products. Seems like Entegra gives you a little more for the money if you can live with their almost no modifications policy.
Having had two DSDP's I'm partial to Newmar but could live with a new Cornerstone if I wanted to downgrade from what I have now.

Some MH's have squeeks until loaded and weight, DS Don is our squeeks expert look up his MOD section, if you have them on a new Newmar.

Here is a link to get you started, good luck in your decision.

Information about FWS's.
Maybe a welcome to our big Newmar family.

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

You are correct on the Comfort Drive. If you will be doing a reasonable amount of driving it will make a big difference at the end of the day. There shouldn't be any squeaks in either coach. They can be addressed at delivery if they are doing so.

Happy Trails!!!

Any of the three should be a great coach. Each will have their die hard fans and detractors. Buy the one you like, don't get your head into the brand wars.

For what it's worth, the Comfort Drive is outstanding.

Happy shopping.

The Aspire really is closer to the Dutch Star. We looked at both, in fact, they are the only two I would consider (in what we can afford), but Jean does not like the Newmars. I don't know why but it seals the deal. I like the comfort drive but it is not a deciding factor to me. I would be happy with either.

Just toured both factories and own a Tiffin. Liked the Entegra best. Kind of spoiled by Tiffin's abundant storage. Newmar storage compairs as non existent to Tiffin. Do like the hung wall and better insulation of both Newmar and Entegra . Think comfort steer is very over rated as no other manufacturer sees any benefit of equipping theirs now that patents are expired. It would be hard decision for me as to upgrading to Allegro bus or Entegra Anthem. Do like the fact Entegra includes almost every option while Newmar charges for almost everything one would want anyway.
