this is a question that no one can answer because it all depends on you, what electrical devices you use, the weather/temperature, and how much per Kw the park charges... just like someone's home right next to their neighbor who's bill is $50 cheaper - not even the exact same situations will render the same exact charges because of so many unknown variables.
as the mayor of my small home town years ago, I had many folks come and 'complain' about their electricity bill since our city had it's own electrical department. The main complaint was that their 'neighbor's bill' was so much less than theirs! Their neighbor lived in a similar sized home, but was newer, better insulated, had more efficient air and heat, and did NOT leave their front door open while the air was running!
but to better answer your general electrical charge question, for budgeting:
our experiences in MANY rv parks and campgrounds is this...
- daily; the price is fixed no matter how much you use
- weekly; some could charge extra, but most still include it in your fixed price
- monthly; some include it in the fixed bill, some meter it/charge it to you extra
...we have seen parks who are mostly 'snow birds' who meter it separately, and have seen other monthly parks who include it in the monthly price and you don't have to worry about a separate bill, or how much you use - it is all up to the management and how they want to run their business.
...let's also throw in the fact that some parks offer only 30a service, so you will typically not be able to run both a/c units, or as many heaters, so your charges will be lower simply due to not having as much incoming power to be charged for.
It's hard to say exactly, but if you budget from $50 to $150 per month you should be fine. That's a wild swing, but in temperate months, you'll see the lower number, and in very hot months you'll experience the higher number. In winter, if you use mainly propane to heat, you'll see the lower end, but if you choose electric space heaters, it will be on the higher end.
We're in western NC mountains currently, and there are many RV parks, Campgrounds, Permanent parks, and Private RV sites to choose from. There is one private campground that is $300 monthly, INCLUDING electricity, with 30a service, right on the Creek, mostly Shaded sites, and Cable tv, and no long term commitment. There is another RV Park Resort down the road that is $800 monthly, METERS and charges extra for the electrical usage(15c per Kw I believe), hot tub, pool, 50a service, no cable, free Wifi, NO shade, requires advance reservations, and does not guarantee you will have a spot the next month unless you already reserved it again and paid ahead of time. That's a big swing in pricing between the two, but to each his own!
