Cook all the time on the road with a crock pot

My husband and I spent over 3 months on the road on a trip through Canada and Alaska. I put a small crock pot on top of silicone pot holders in my sink and let it cook away on the days we drove from one location to another. It won't spill over if you have to make a sudden stop, the coach smells great going down the road, and when you get there dinner is ready! A good friend shared this idea with me and I was very grateful she did! The crock pot was big enough for 4 chicken breast, a small meatloaf, and numerous other meals. Most sinks won't hold a large one, but if it's only two of you, it works great!
