Norcold - Dinosaur problems

The old 621271 power board blew on my Norcold 120LRIM fridge last week and, because I live in the UK, I sourced a Dinosaur 6212xx power board from a supplier in the UK. I fitted it, after setting the jumper to 621271 and changing the fuse to 8amp. All good so far, however I don't think it's communicating to my eyebrow unit (display) on the fridge front.

On shore power the display flashes 'LOW AC' and switches to LPG and keeps flashing Low AC. I've checked and there's 124v at the dinosaur board. On the Genny it flashes 'HI AC' and stays on AC, but I don't hear the fridge working and yet there's 116v on the dinosaur board.

My eyebrow unit has a 621272 board in it and I think it's not compatible with the dinosaur board (wrong communication set up), and they don't make them anymore!

Any suggestions for a fix or workaround would be gratefully received.

I'm stumped!

I would call the Dinosaur tech support folks. I bet they can figure it out!

I've discovered the problem. The Dinosaur board monitors frequency and in the UK (where I live) we run on 240v (through a transformer to 120v) but at 50htz. in the states you all run on 60htz!

The fix was to fit a Norcold 633299 board kit, which comes with new optical display, power board and thermistor. Fitted it today, along with 2 new heater elements and bingo! It all works a treat.
