I had a guy that wanted to buy my 11 yo 1200 but he wasn't local and shipping it cost as much as it was worth and I wasn't willing to do the packaging & shipping for nothing. I ended up giving away some parts, e.g. the controller board and some hinges, for the cost of shipping.
If somebody local had needed a fridge, I suspect I could have got at least a few hundred for it, and maybe $400. I had only about a week to decide to sell or scrap it and no localr buyer turned up in that week, so I let Lowes haul the carcass away when they delivered my new GE fridge.
