Often people have different opinions on what different suspension parts will do, like shocks. If they're worn out the coach will dip and dive, which can translate into sway.

Pretty much everyone gave you the same sequence of things to do and change. If you follow the above suggestions, you'll dramatically improve the ride of the coach. Do the tire pressure, shocks, alignment if the tires are wearing poorly, and the trac bar. After you complete those items, drive it for awhile and see if it gives you the improvement you're looking for. If you add too many new items, you can stiffen the suspension too much and make the coach rough riding.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Our RV is a Ford, V10 Engine. Tires are only 2 years old, inflated well.

Hubby believes is maybe the bushings and the suspension. Since our Rig needs to be in storage this weekend, we'll definitely try to fix what we can in the spring, otherwise we'll have to bring it in the shop. Hubby is pretty handy so hopefully he can do the work himself.

Thanks again!!

Sounds like you have F53 Ford Chassis.
Check your fed sticker.
F 53 usually gets great improvement with chf, "cheap handling fix,
treatment to your sway bar, tons of simple help on this forum for a do it yourself mechanic.
Simple chf search......
Stardard tools and less than a hour of work.
Look into Safe T Plus for better control, good investment.
Tire inflation, chf, safe t plus, good grease job, will start you enjoying your ride.
Helped me!!!
Don't forget to check those shocks.

I'm not familiar with that particular sway bar system, but it looks to me like some rubber bushings are missing and damaged. Looks like the bottom one is completely gone, and the upper one is just barely there.

Oops, just re-read and see that was not the OP post. Great example what to look for though when you get under there.

Even if your sway bar bushings look good i'd see if they are polyurethane and if not get them. Easy install. The bushings ford used years ago were a low quality rubber that failed and fell out.

A track bar is what will help with the trucks passing you when you are consistently fighting to keep straight.

I have a 37' F53 and after several other suspension upgrades i did the DIY track bar. With the track bar i dont realize a truck is passing me until i see him. one hand resting on the steering wheel and a pleasure to drive.
