I have a 2002 Tradewinds with Power Gear Levelers. The leg valve solenoids on the pump are leaking oil. Tim at Power Gear says the orings are not available

We (dealership I am service manager for) have replaced a lot of solenoids over the years for various reasons. Have you removed the valve? Have you tried to find another source for the O ring? We had one a little while back that had a hair line crack in the manifold and we replaced the whole pump and motor assmy under warranty. Good luck and keep us posted.

If you have the old O ring or if possible to take the part where the O ring goes to an auto parts place, they may match one up for you.

If you are near a Harbor Freight they have o-ring kits in both SAE and metric sizes. A while back I put one of each in the coach and always have the correct size when I need one. I am sure the kits were not expensive. I'm pretty sure the material is either buna-n or viton, either one would be ok with most hydraulic fluids.

Well here we go again. The orings didn't fix the leak so I went to Beaudrys and purchased a new valve solenoid and replaced the whole thing. That fixed the leak for the middle one, now the bottom one is leaking. The valve solenoids are about $225 a pop. By the way, if anybody needs orings contact

Well back to Beaudry's for another valve solenoid.
