Onan 3600 lp

Gen turns over great but will not fire, has gas and new spark plug. Gives a code 14 which appears to be a list as long as your arm. Anyone have experience with this? Thank you

There are already a lot of threads hereabouts on Onan gennies. And you may have some documents that came with your coach. And there is additional help online from Onan/Cummins and Flight Systems, an aftermarket supplier of control boards and such.
Start by verifying oil level. Next, you can ground the lead that goes to the oil pressure switch. If the unit is old and high hours the carbons/brushes may have worn or the collector rings are too dirty to have good contact with the carbons/brushes. If that is the case, then your voltage regulator may have gone bad. That is about as much experience as I've had with my gasoline powered unit. Good luck!

Download service and diagnostic manual for your full model # not name they used same names for years with different engines completly. Troubleshooting flow charts will eliminate big part of the code list by other symptoms. Tests are not difficult not understand. Flightsystems Inc has flow charts as well.
