Onan Genset

I was wondering if you can add some gauges to read some parameters on a generator? Maybe rpm, voltage, oil pressure etc. Be nice to be able to monitor it instead of waiting for something to happen. Any suggestions? Thanks

It's easily done on most any model generator either thru aftermarket gauges or perhaps the electronics and sensors already exist on yours to be able to do so. However you didn't list your make and model for anyone to help you further :-)

I added an AC Volt Meter to my dash... really helps to know what it's putting out. It let me know by the low and slowly climbing voltage that my stater slip rings were dirty before I damaged any equipment.

The same gauge works for park voltage too...
