open ground error code on ems when using honda 2000

Hello

We are Kevin and Dodi and are new owners today of a 1995 bounder 34j. We have
been full timers for 4 years. we are camp hosts in the white mountain national
forest in NH.

Now our problem hope someone can help.

We have no hookups so we use a Honda 2000i for power. our bounder has a
hardwired EMS 120v/30. We had power when plugged into a 20 amp 110 outlet. We
have power when running the Onan Genset. but when plugged in to our Honda 2000i
we get an error code 02 which is open ground. but our Honda powers or other
1990 class a with no problems. any help would be great.

That is because most generators do not bond the neutral to the ground, just flip the switch on the EMS monitor to off and you will have power.
