Road Salt is a killer here. Leave mine in the garage from November till end of March. It stays plugged in and I just run the generator about once a month for 45 minutes.

All of these devices would benefit from a squirt of fogging oil to coat the cylinders at the time of layup. Common practice in the marine industry
