This poll is to quantify motorhome owner's preferred method of tire balancing.

It has questions about axles balanced and the balancing method.

never ceases to amaze me that some folks don't balance all....
For the cost - why not?
If the tires wobble on the front - don't ya think they do same on the rear?
Smooth tires (round and balanced) are more than just comfort. All bearings, shocks, mounts get undue stress if they are fighting an unbalanced tire.

I won't use weights due to the effects of dissimilar metal corrosion damage that can really screw up a nice wheel.

Don't see the need for centramatics when tire beads do the job.

Need to add an answer, spin balanced AND Centramatics. Overkill???, maybe but getting the tires close to being correct then with the Centramatics I had smooth driving.

I've had really good results with balancing beads in all tires!

No spot for “don’t” until if needed in the poll. Haven’t needed for 12 22.5 tires in 10 years.
Local tire shop does a lot of big truck tires without any balancing.

Agree. When a person is spending perhaps as much as a few thousand $$$ on tires for a DP, why you they install them unbalanced and have premature tire wear as well as the potential to damage suspension components due to the vibration. Just because you can't "feel" any out of balance, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. But at least so far in this country, people are free to misuse, ignore maintenance, and generally abuse property they own. But to be fair, make sure you alert any potential new owner's that no tires were ever balanced. Just the right thing to do.

Front tires are bead balanced no issues. 60,000 miles and 6 years tires look new . The rear are unbalanced. I drove commercially for years .front tires were balanced rears never. Many of you are applying car tire small equipment rules to “big equipment” . It amazes me people worry about tire wear on a 150-200,000 mile tire (22.5) that in 7 years ( replacement time ) you’ll be lucky to put a fraction of that on. If I have a handling issue or serious wear I’ll deal with it. I never have. I’m sure the tire store will be happy to take your money and make you happy ... all good.
