(Huh! Now that heater I linked is back to $19.95 as I write this post. So congrats to those who were able to get it at $15 and even more to those who got it at the $9.99 special!)

Yeah that's really strange. Maybe we will all get scammed.
Has anyone received one of these from these sellers lately?

It's common on Amazon, when a product is not selling the price drops, when it starts selling again the price goes up. I've seen it happen when someone recommends a great deal just like happened here, people start to buy and the price goes up.

I did receive the two I ordered a few days ago from that link in my original post and the product itself is fine and almost identical to the one I bought a year ago or so(?).

Like I mentioned before, I really prefer the ones that have the 900W option as opposed to the ones that have the 750W as the lower setting as it don't seem to give off that much heat from the 750W setting.

I ordered one at $15 and it arrived in 2 days, just in time for our San Diego trip although the predicted highs are in the mid 70s for Christmas.
Funny thing is I hesitated at $10 thinking for that price they must be junk, but when they went to $15 I felt better about it

It should make you feel a lot better now that they're back up to $21.95

Resistance heaters produce 3.41 BTU per Watt. No matter if they are oil radiator type, ceramic, or coils. Most outlets are supposedly 15 Amp but the sockets wear out especially at full blast. I advise you to check or simply change them out for those used close to the limit. These are cheap at any hardware store. Marketers like to brag about high efficiency but the math doesn’t lie.

Out of all the heaters we tried in 11 years, we like this one the best. It’s fairly quiet, very safe, has tip over feature, 2 settings and blows 360° all around from the center of the unit, so it never heats the floor to where it’s too hot, works great!

I would never use that type outlet! Most of them offer screw connections as well as the push-in. I always strip the wire back and wrap it tightly around the screw before tightening it securely!

Be aware that the major brands of cube-style ceramic heaters lose about 1/3 of their output each year when cycling at full power over the winter months. For example, a heater of 1400 watts (neglecting the fan) will be at about 900 watts next season and 600 watts the following year. Running at lower power improves lifetime considerably.

Yes, be sure it is CSA or UL approved.

The DG 15a RV/MOTOR HOME SPEED RECEPTACLE is not like conventional push-in, nor screw lug, but is more like a 3M SCOTCHLOK where the side of the wire is pushed into the retainer, and held in by the receptacle back. https://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Group.../dp/B004M8N5A8
