Powderpost beetles

We have a 2019 Newmar and it has powderpost beetles.
Newmar paid for the fumigation.
The was damage to a couple of walls and we think the ceiling.
There were several hundred found in the skylight area between the roof and ceiling.
We don't know the extent of the damage there. Dealership said it would cause more damage to take down the panels and Newmar claims that there is not any wood in the ceiling. It sounds like we are getting the run around. We know they have had problems with other Newmars having the powder post beetles, so I'm wondering what is the solution. It is still under warranty.

This is the search results for irv2.com for "powder post beetles" https://www.google.com/search?q=powd...earch=irv2.com
I remember one of the threads explained the mfgr. company had to buy-back the RV under warranty.

This is very good news to me. I am very concerned about whether the builders will take responsibility for this problem.
Not so good is them leaving holes in the walls. I have been told by an exterminator that these beetles would not destroy a camper structurally. There growth is very slow. I am however concerned ed about the aesthetics and resale value. We did buy a NEW CAMPER, not a damaged camper.

Thank you Ray. This site I difficult to navigate. I wish I could post directly to posts. Instead my post show up down the page a bit. And when I find a more appropriate place for my post it is removed because it is duplicate. Perhaps i can learn. Obviously many others have learned how to use this site.

About the Kennedy quote, fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. John F. Kennedy. Perhaps my country can stop billionaire from selling faulty products. If I am not fully compensated for the powder post beetles damages, then billionaires owned companies will be given the right to steal from me. If we were complaining about a car, they would be required to make it right. Even a new shirt would be exchanged for a undamaged one. No one should have the right to steal by deception. We must be able to return faulty products.

I think some of your confusion MAY be because the thread YOU started is apparently residing in the Forest River owner's forum, whereas this thread that you are posting in is residing in the Motorhome General discussions forum.

I am very disheartened. I can't sleep and I am too sad to go on. I am 72 and like most people that age I am ill. I can't fight this battle and I can't do anything that is illegal. I know I have not even begun this battle. I just can't do it. I spent hours today trying to put together the photos, specimens and other proof needed to lodge a complaint with the manufacturer. I figure this is my last summer and Forest River stole it from me. They should be ashamed. Sorry for dumping on you. It is 1:30 am.
