Power Gear Leveler
Posted a few weeks ago that I had a leaking leveler and as it ended up this model number appears to be the only model that a rebuild kit is not available. The model number is 500384 and Power Gear doesn't list a kit. The complete assembly has to be replaced, almost unbelievable, they show kits that look at least, to be the same but they say no. So my question is if anyone has experience with this or could there be one in a rv wrecking yard somewhere? 1999 PaceArrrow34n.

Thank you. I as well have that same document but when CW called Power Gear they say a rebuild kit isn't available for that #. To complicate Power Gear will only sell through a dealer not direct. I am trying other dealers hoping someone may have one on the shelf before it was made not available. Any thought on an RV wrecking yard or????

Try emailing Power Gear to confirm what CW told you. They are very responsive to emails. Also ask them which one of their dealers has them. Their address is.
Info@powergearus.com .
Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Buddy passed in Sept. I just can't bring myself to take him off my signature. He was a great dog.

Very sorry, they become a part, we've had a few through the years.

If you are anywhere near Yuma, Az. Jim with Independent Hydraulics can and will rebuild Levelers. Very good work and reasonable.

Most areas have one or more places that can do the rebuilds, unless it is welded closed, if it can be taken apart it can be rebuilt, a handfull of common seals is all it takes unless it has a crack that can't be welded
