Power Slide-Out Tray Adjustment

I have the Kwikee Super Slide ii trays. One of them will move only about 1 inch at a time in one direction. The same tray runs as it should in the opposite direction. To get the tray out on the passenger side I must keep pressing the button until the tray is almost completely out, then it will move the rest of the way in one step.

I have checked the door switches and they seem to be normal. They provide a path to ground when the door is open as I recall - I could see the switches operate with my ohmmeter.
I also checked to see that all 4 limit switches on the drive rail were activating as the tray passed over them. I bent the small switch lever up slightly to make sure it did in fact contact the tray. After this I saw a slight improvement, but the issue has not resolved.
Any tips on what to look for?

Limit Switches OK - Now What?

Spent some time yesterday trying to troubleshoot this further. I was able to observe the controller LED lights and confirm that both the DS & PS Door Open limit switches work as they should. I also confirmed that all 4 limit switches that contact the bottom of the tray work as they should.
The problem is that I still get short movement of the tray in one direction.

If I extend the tray from center out the driver side, it runs smoothly to the end of its travel. If I go from center toward the passenger side the tray moves about 2 inches then stops. Each press of the button gets about 2 inches of travel until the tray is about 1/3 of the way extended, then it moves from there to the end in one motion.
Wondering where to look next?

Since it works, just not correctly, I suspect you have a motor controller somewhere that needs to be located and reprogrammed.

Check the limit switches with an ohm meter to be sure they are being electrically activated with the slide movement.

If there's a controller, find it and get the model number, call Kwikee, they should be able to provide an instruction sheet for reprogramming.
