Products for cleaning my clear plastic skylight

Is there a preferred product that will clean or polish a clear skylight cover on the roof? Something that is easy and effective would be nice. My skylight has faded and is yellowing a bit. I believe it is some plastic type product. Thanks for any recommendations.

Years ago I bought a can of surplus plastic cleaner for helicopter bubbles. Works great, will even polish the 3M stick on plastic rock shield on the front of my rig.

A friend gave me a quart bottle of that stuff. I still have about 3 oz in the bottle after 10 years. He's retired from the aviation industry now, no idea where to get more.

I get mine at my local FBO (fixed base operator). Go to an airport and find a place that rents aircraft, they will have it.

Or you can buy it from Sporty's Search results for: 'windshield polish' - from Sporty's Pilot Shop

Probably Amazon has it too

Another vote for Meguiars. I've used #10 and #17 (polish and cleaner) on boat and Jeep windows. Both easily available.

car polish works great for headlights, may work for yellowed skylight..

I painted my skylight with white Krylon. It looks good and eliminates the heat from the skylight, but still lets in some light.
