Propane: Extended Stay plus Auto Change Regulator?

During spring and fall the RV park in Eastern Oregon where we park our Motorhome, the temperature often falls below freezing (we have the MH winterized and stored during the dead of winter, but then de-winterize it in the spring and set it up at the RV Park). However, our 30 gallon propane tank will run out of gas in a couple of weeks even with the T-Stat set in the 40s to try to prevent interior pipe freezing problems. We live about 4 hours drive away from the RV Park, so it is not convenient to pop in weekly to check on things. Also, right now we need to drive the MH to another location to fill the built in propane tank.

Has anyone ever combined an Extended Stay 4 port propane fitting with an Auto Change over regulator so that it will switch over to an additional external propane tank even if you are not present? I'm surprised that I haven't seen that configuration mentioned anywhere in my research.

There is a vendor who would be happy to rent us a big propane tank, but they a large initial set up fee, then charge almost $100 each time you want to disconnect and re-connect and they want 1 week notice for each action. We want to remain much more mobile than that would allow.

Let me know if anyone has any good solutions for this situation.

In order for an 'Auto Changeover Reg' to work BOTH high pressure supplies must fed reg and then ONE low pressure supply source feds the RV

Extend a Stay allows 2 high pressure sources to supply Main LP REG but requires someone to choose which source is used. No way to use an 'Auto Changeover Reg' set up
