I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

I have Diamond Shield on my motorhome and after 10 years it still looks like new. I do remove the bugs by hand (no power washer) as soon as possible, and apply a coat of wax a few times a year as recommended in Diamond Shields instructions.

I haven't tried the 303 Protectant yet.

We just returned from having Diamond Shield removed from our 2008 Fleetwood Expedition. It looks like a brand new rig. We used Wayne at “Ugly RV Shield Removal” in Fort Myers, Fl. We could not be happier with the results as well as the service we received. This gentleman know what he is doing and I can’t say enough about his customer service. We were able to stay onsite with electricity and WIFI. It was such a positive experience. Well worth the trip from Louisiana. Give him a call.

I have read numerous comments like the one above about Ugly RV Shield Removal. I have no personal experience with them, but read a lot on the several RV discussion forums and all comments are excellent.

As the OP is in Florida, this is the very best bet.
