Question about shaving

Hello everyone,

When you shave your face do you let the shavings wash down the sink into the gray tank or do you so something else with the shavings? We have a sanicon unit to dump our tanks.

Thanks for your ideas,

Stuart

I shave at the campgrounds sink or shower.

When in the RV I use an electric so it's not an issue. I can't imagine trying to save the soap and hair to discard. Let it go down the sink.

I rinse my razor blade off while shaving with hot water and yes it goes down the drain, but I shave every other day so it is just light stubble at best.

What is your concern here?

I use a electric shaver with a cleaning stand, as far as using a razor, if you had a full beard, and shaved it off, I would not recommend for it to go down the sink, if you have a normal 1-3 day growth, by all means, use your sink, just like at home. There is worst stuff going down into the tank from the kitchen sink.......

Well, I have to stop singing when I start shaving or run the risk of cutting my lip off... but yeah, I've shaved in the shower for many years. We don't do any boondocking.

Thanks everyone,

To be more clear I would be shaving every few days. Nothing like shaving a ZZ Top beard, just short stubble.

It sounds like letting it go down the sink drain is ok.

Me too. I've never heard of any issues with the down the old drain method.

Wash it down the drain. That's what happens to your shed body hair when you shower.

That's what I do every other day unless I'm doing something that requires a more often shower but everytime in the shower I shave and it all goes down the drain. But my spouses long hair hangs up on the screen and I (not she) removes and cleans that area. I think I do get benefits in the long run for removing that hair.
