Re-Stringing Day Night Shades

I have restrung most of our shades and did the same for many fellow RV'rs.

I am about to do another, but I discovered that the small plastic eyelets were missing. I suspect this was the root cause for the failure.

Where can I buy the eyelets? Has anyone found a better substitute?

You should be able to get them at a fabric store. Another possibility could be a hobby store. I am sure if the strings are rubbing on sharp metal edges, they will not last long.

Try the Dirty Blind Man or Fix My Blinds.

I bought a bunch at the factory last summer at the Grand National Rally. You should be able to get them from Lichtsinn Motors. I have ordered stuff from them a number of times and have always received good service.

Call Day & Night and tell them to send you some. That was the cause of my cords breaking. I ordered a restringing kit from The Dirty Blind Man and the little grommets were included in the kit.
