After much research, we bought ours from RecPro. They will send fabric samples, upon request.

I had the same limitations and went with 2 Lazyboy Harbortown recliners, Furniture - La-Z-Boy Sofas, Chairs, Recliners and Couches - Find a Furniture Store - Official La-Z-Boy Website. The back come off to make them easy to install and the arms are removeable. I took my arms off because I have a murphy bed and remove backs so the bed can come down for sleeping. You can either cut the arms off or pull the upholstery up along the bottom of the frame and then restaple. That's what I did and it was pretty easy, I used an electric staple gun I bought at Home Depot for $20-30. It's all worth it when you find out it cost $4000 for a custom sofa or recliners. We ordered the Lazyboys with the material and color we wanted for around $2000.
The Harbortown dimensions are:
Body Depth: 37.0
Body Height: 41.0
Body Width: 30.0
Seat Depth: 19.5
Seat Height: 19.0
Seat Width: 23.0
Weight: 105 lbs

We also used RecPro. They will send you fabric samples for free if you call them. My wife is also very particular in this area. We ended up not trying to match the color, but choosing a contrasting color that would "go" (her words not mine) with the existing. We were very pleased. Very comfortable, not too soft, not too firm.

We use the seat belts left over from the original hide a bed to secure them while traveling. Held in place with four wood screws on each chair.

Nice, mighty nice! I'm going to have to look into doing something like this. Thanks for the idea.
