Recommendations for fueling gloves

Any suggestions for fueling gloves?

I don’t want disposables and am mainly concerned about diesel smell.

It depends on what you are trying to avoid - germs or dirt. I have always used inexpensive leather gloves for fueling and working around the coach. However, in theory, they will capture any virus on pump handles and pump controls and stay on the golve.

Do to the virus, I now use nitrile disposable golves for fueling. Doing this carefully, you can fuel up without carrying any germs back into the rig.

I tried to use doggie bags but found them too flimsy and arkward. Good backup though.

I use garden gloves usually for the fueling part. For credit card and pin codes I use a plastic bag.

I just use the std. cheap disposable ones you can get in a box by the hundreds. 1 use & I can throw them away in the trash can at the fueling station.

I use the cheap latex gloves, I keep a small bag of them in all my cars. Great for keeping gasoline smell off the hands.

I use "Dogie Poop" bags. I always have some in my pocket anyway and they are available free at most campgrounds. Also I don't bring then back into the house.

Been using these for the last 3 years for handling sewage disposal. Now using them for fueling also.
Walmart’s price isn’t bad at $19 for 500 . Easy on and off even with my extra large hands.

Only negative I have seen is they get a little slippery with diesel on them.

Great question. I use waterproof gloves (I forgot the name of them but they are blueish in color) from Northern. They work great and I keep them in the first bay under the drivers window.

No diesel smell or its oily residue ever gets on my hands.

Harbor Freight! soft, flexible, light weight, tougher than nails, take them on and off and reuse them if you like!

Disposable gloves are the only way to go. All the germs and diesel/gas smell stay in the trash can @ the fuel stop. It is a no brainer. That said, use mechanics gloves from Harbor Freight for working on coach.

Single use disposable for the win.... I get a 10 x 100 pack at the cash & carry for about $20. I use them when dumping the tanks as well.

I used gloves in the past but found them inconvenient, specially if at pumps that cut off at a specific dollar amount, and you had to recycle it. All the getting cards out a second time required removing gloves.
I now re-use the WalMart type plastic bags, put my hand in the bag to hold the fill valve or touch the pump buttons, leave the bag around the fill valve while filling. The bag stays around the fill valve until I get done fueling, no matter how many times I need to handle the valve, then goes to the trash. It leaves my hands free and clean to do other things while fueling, best part, no expense and I would throw them away anyway.

I’ve made a lot of $$$$ with diesel equipment so I like the smell and do not use gloves. I have started to use plastic shopping bags during these interesting times when fueling. Haven’t used gloves for the sewer in 50+ years and not going to start now... that’s what soap is for.
