What about "flex seal" or rustoleum's "leak seal"? They both claim to be rubber based products.
On my roof, It's Dicor. Period. Your roof, is whatever you are comfortable with.

Order through Amazon if necessary.
I am a newbie. From what I have read on these threads there are only a couple products for patching and sealing. They are expensive but will last. Silicone is a no-no. Will not last and will keep the proper product from adhering when you have to fix it.
Search roof repair for lots of reading.
Post pics of your before, during, and after. We all learn from the successes of others.

I have herd that "Flex Seal" works good on roof repair, never tried it but it is rubber based.

Do it right the first time and use Dicor and have one less thing to worry about.

Here's a video that's right up your alley. Granted, these guys permanently removed their sat dish, but the removal steps are laid out perfectly. After installation of the new parts DICOR is a must.

Here's another one of their videos. It goes more in-depth about removing and cleaning the old dicor and prepping the roof for the new parts.

Since you wish to remove and replace the same size base.. You should not need to do a "Rubber roof repair"

I'd say a putty knife should do the job,, You may need a bit of patience but a putty knife should do it.

Still waiting on parts from Winegard. All but one arrived when it should. Paid for second day shipping. However, one part was missing. Packing slip showed it, but it was not in the box. I have been calling and emailing everyday for a week now. All they can tell me is that customer service is working on it.

I mean, come on, put the part in a box and send it. How difficult is it?

Big Dicor fan myself as well. Only products I use on my roof. They also have a lot of helpful videos on their website or Youtube as well.

Finally heard from Winegard, they have begun an investigation into the part they didn't ship. Come on, how hard is it to put it in a box and put it in the mail?

Just order another piece that you need and let them worry about the first one you ordered.
