Exclamation Repairing Fiberglass Panels?

Hey there folks, I've finally got around to sticking my exterior paneling back on my old 87' and I've run into a slight issue from the past... when I had to remove one of my panels I realized it ran the full length of the RV and would also require taking out a window. Seeing as the area I was working on was pretty far away from the window/most of the panel, I made the choice to cut it instead to save a lot of legwork.

So now in the present I need to find a way to seal over this ugly cut but I'm not really sure what to use having no experience with fiberglass. Is it possible to paint over the seam with fiberglass or should I be looking at some sort of flex-tape option? All advice appreciated!

I remember seeing a post a while back where a person had to repair a delamination area. He had the same issue, a full wall panel. He opted to cut a vertical seam and remove only a portion. When he reinstalled the piece in the end he simply used a piece of the molding that similar to what was used on the rest of the coach to cover the seam. When done it did not look that bad, but he took time to make a clean straight cut in a location that made sense.
