Replacement Decals

While I had my motorhome out this weekend, I decided to take a closer inspection of my decals and noticed a couple of them were severely cracked. Looking online, I decided to get a quote from WinnebagoParts.com. I took pictures of the decals I wanted to replace (see below) and requested a quote.

Well, I got the quote today and could not believe my eyes. One decal was almost $700. I called the company to make sure this was not an error. Tyler told me the price would be different if they were ordering a 1,000, but it was more expensive to order the one. Really, $700...

The other two decals were about $250 and $70. Oh, and this does not include shipping.

Unbelievable...

For about $6 of Walmart paint, tape off the stripe, lightly sand it and just spray paint over the decal. Take a picture of the decal with your phone to match the paint in the store.

Or go to a place that does vinyl wrap. They can make them if they can match the color.

Call RV Strips in San Bernardino, CA. That is all they do and they use CAD machines to cut the 3M vinyl to match.

We had all our coach strips and logos removed and had all of them replaced in a better pattern than it came from the factory.

They have an amazing stock of metallic or non-metalic colors.

We also went with a different metallic color that the factory never offered.

Nice family business. Beautiful work!

A number of us have painted the decals. It makes the coach look 10 years newer and you don't have to mess with it again.
