Replacing Flexsteel L shaped couch.

Looking to replace my flexsteel L shaped couch with a Rec Pro triple recliner. I have seen this discussed many times here but my question is regarding the slide out depth. Rec pro gives a 36.5 " slideout depth to support frame. The slide that holds the flexsteel couch is only 32" but supports this large piece with substantial overhang. Has anyone run into this situation and if so what was your solution. Thanks in advance.

Is your floor carpet, vinyl or tile? Ours is tile, and we removed the stupid L-couch on the full wall slide and replaced it with two La-Z-Boy powered recliners. Attached some wood blocks to the front of the recliners to match the height of the FWS deck, with some felt pads on the bottom. The recliners just slide in/out on the floor with the FWS.

If you have carpet you can do the same, but with something very slick on the bottom (cut up some plastic kitchen cutting boards...they should slide on carpet easily).
