Roadmaster Reflex Steering System Install

One more to add to the threads on Roadmaster RSS. Just installed it myself. My motorhome is a 2008 so the leaf spring u-bolt threads were a little corroded and the nuts hung up while trying to remove them. I ran them back on and took a wire brush to the threads with some liquid wrench to clean them. Eventually I was able to remove them and install the newest RSS bracket the RBK-22 bracket. That was the hardest part.

The rest of the install went very smooth. And as luck would have it I didn't need to make any adjustments on my test run. We head out on a long trip next week so time will tell.Click image for larger version

I installed one last winter on my XS Freightliner chassis. At first it was very stiff. After a hundred miles I could not tell it was on. Did it in case of a blow out. I've got crappy Good Years with rivering. Helps a tiny bit in winds and passing trucks.
Install was fairly easy on newer MH.
