Since it is ducted, I would replace it with the new version of whatever is up there.

Roof AC choices

Look for the largest capacity you can find. If you also use it for heating, consider getting one with a heat pump. Make sure your choice is compatible with the ducted installation. You may need to update the thermostat and wiring.

I replaced my older Dometic DuoTherms 13.5K BTU units with low profile Penguin II high capacity 15Kbtu units AC/HP.

I called PPL and talked to a rep, told him what I had and he told what I need to replace. The newer units required a thermostat change also, he recommended the 10 button CCC but I decide to replace with the MicroAir.

The main reason was that the MicroAir can be controlled by both Bluetooth and Wifi and you can program it to send alerts for a set temp. My wife travels with dogs and I thought this would be a good option. Paid off this last month, she's been in MI visiting friends and a couple weeks ago temps got to +95F and she only had a 30 amp service. Running 1 AC she was able to keep the coach at 76F. I could periodically check when I got alerts on the temps.

One thing I did before installing new AC was to buy a remote camera and checked my duct work. Glad I did as I found mouse holes on both ends plus one large one in the middle. Also found one of the duct joints not sealed. All those resulted in a pretty significant loss of conditioned air into the ceiling. I think the combination of up sizing the AC's to 15K BUT and fixing the leaks improved cooling capacity significantly.

Cruiser, posted a complete installation on an Entegra which would probably work for you. It's somewhere in the Entegra owners section.

I would check with JC Refrigeration in Shipshewanna, Ind. to see what they have and recommend.

If you have multiple AC units you probably need to go back with the same model. Or you will need a separate thermostat.

There are issues with backwards compatibility so posting what you have should elicit more accurate answers to your specific setup.
