Roof coatings?

I have a leak around a sky light . What is the best roof coating acrylic or silicone? I am interested in getting a good sealant roof coating . Lowe’s / Home Depot has two types ... any suggestions?

If your roof is fiberglass, most use self leveling Dicor sealant.

You did not mention what type roof you have on your RV. There are specific coatings made for different types of roofs. I have a EPDM roof on my coach and I just finished re-coating it in July. I used Heng's Roof Seal and it did a great job of coating. I put two coats on it. Make sure your roof is clean before you start. Also a good idea to use Eternabond Roof Seal tape around vents, along seams, etc. God luck with your choice. Safe travels and happy camping!

If your only leak is around a skylight then I would reseal it with 4" EternaBond tape and Dicor self-leveling sealant. DO NOT use anything on the roof that has silicone!
