Are you a member of the Good Sam Club? If so try their insurance - what I really like about it is if you store your RV over the winter they will cut you a discount on the insurance when your rig is in storage.

Hope this helps!

I went with Progressive

I am with USAA and they affiliate with Progressive for RV policies. I set up the coverage online and it was a snap. If you use your RV less than 30 days per year the standard coverage was pretty darn affordable, less than $400 per year down here in the swamps of Louisiana. It's a bit extra if you elect to pay on a monthly/quarterly basis. The standard policy includes several bells and whistles that you may or may not need like roadside assistance. (I already have AAA set up for the family's coverage in every vehicle including the RV). I played around on the website comparing every option before making my decision, much easier than dealing with a dis-interested employee on the phone. Best of luck with your new coach and safe travels!

Contact an Insurance Broker who handles multiple companies. Let him get the best quote for you. Saves you time. If you have a home million dollar umbrella insurance policy, you can keep some rates lower.

Try a broker who specializes in RVs, e.g. Miller RV Insurance, Gilbert RV Insurance, or ExplorerRV. They all have websites and friendly agents to assist.
