RV insurance rates
I need some advice,
I am new to Rving and have ordered a 2016 phaeton 36gh. I started searching for insurance today and am getting quotes of $3000 a year. I have contacted Progressive, Geico and National General thru Good Sam. I saw a progressive quote of $1568 mentioned on the tiffin owners site. Would that be for 6 months? If it is than the $3K annually quote would be in line. I am an escapees member and have a Bushnell, Florida domicile address. I did ask for replacement coverage and have a clean driving record.
Thanks
Glenn

wouldn't hurt to keep shopping. unless you're a full-timer be sure to check State Farm and always make sure you're comparing an apple to an apple..all of the quotes are for identical insurance coverage.
we have a 39' 2016 Itasca Suncruiser 38Q with State Farm. annual premium is right around $1100. but we have a gasser and I believe you have a diesel. we could likely find less expensive insurance but I've been with State Farm for 50-years and our customer service experience with them in regards to claims and such has been phenomenal.

When we bought the Magna GS wanted over $3,000 a year for it. Went to Miller Ins and they found Allied for about $1,300 a year.

You need to keep shopping! By the way, at what point are you no longer "full timing" it? I mean if you stay 30 days in hotels, friends places in a 1 year period, are you still "full timing" it for insurance purposes?

That is not it necessarily out of line especially with full replacement coverage FL insurance is higher than other states. But keep checking
