Sealing the side of front cap

We get a small leak during heavy rain and wind. I think it may be from the seal on the front cap below the roof line on the side. For the top I have Eternabond but the side is painted of course so the tape won't look so good.

I have read silicone is not an option. So what should I use? Do not need a huge caulk gun size tube for the few inches. Clear would be the color choice.

Had the same issue with a leak in the same place when we bought ours. Dealer used Geocel 28100V Pro Flex Crystal Clear RV Flexible Sealant - 10 oz available at Amazon.

No more leak after that.

Thanks Ranger. I wish they sold a smaller size. Did not bring along a caulk gun. Might have to buy one even though there are about three back at the sticks and bricks house.

I also use the Pro Flex, but bought it in a can. I use small disposable paint brushes and paint it on. Works well for sealing up painted areas.
