Run the tank half full or less. You have gained the weight difference, saved the cost of fabrication and new tanks. If your carrying items not used for a year get rid of them. Now you have more space no cost and you have not affected the resale value. And if you replace the big tank it will be a negative NOT a plus maybe even a deal breaker.
