Any check you write has any and all info required to execute a wire transfer. If nervous don't write checks.

If you go to the bank to do a wire transfer, the standard response is 1-3 days, even though most occur in under an hour......BUT.....if you were to go in at 4:00pm on a Friday in California, wiring to Florida....it will be Monday before the transfer is complete (verifiable). Thus, 1-3 days.

Ours quoted same day as long as the order to go ahead was given before a cut off time (dont recall exactly but think it was around 2:00 PM.
I had provided all account info for both ends ahead of time and gave go ahead day of the sale.
