Selling your motorhome

Have any of you sold a motorhome (registered out-of-state, SD) and with title still held by the bank? If so, a few questions:

- Did you use an attorney, escrow company, etc?

- Did you use a purchase agreement?

Please describe the process you used. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I recently sold my coach in Wisconsin to a guy in South Dakota
We did a wire transfer from his bank directly to my loan account and then wire transferred the balance to my personel account.

When the money was received I emailed him a "Bill of Sale" listing the VIN and amount paid etc. and he came and got the coach.

In Wisconsin, they sent the title back to me after payoff because I have to sign it. Then I sent it to the buyer in SD. There is no way around this when a loan is involved. It took about 3 weeks to complete the title BS.

The same process was involved when I bought my coach from Illinois.
