We have a new Thor Challenger with a short king bed. Don't care for the Denver Mattress and want to replace it with a medium firm memory foam. Our size is 72" x 75", but can only find rv king mattresses that are 72" x 80". Has anyone tried cutting a few inches off the end? Does the cover come off? Any insight would be appreciated. We had a Serenia 8" memory foamshort queen in our other rv and loved it.

Shurely there are mattress companies who custom make mattresses nearly everywhere in the U.S.?

Our town has 2 mattress manufactuers which will make any size you want. I think mattress companies are pretty common. I would Google mattress factory with your state.

https://www.mattressinsider.com/home...22%20x%2075%22 list the size you want. Scroll down to the 8" cool gel. We have one of them and DW likes it better than the S&B one. We pick up a new coach Wednesday and the deal was swap mattress out. She said we would walk if dealer wouldn't let us.

Oh, we are rather "hefty" too.
