Check for push button breakers on the inverter case.

First problem is to find the cause of the short and fix it. The breaker on the inverter itself is irrelevant if the short is in the black & white wires (120v power source) that feed an inverter/charger. A short there trips the 30A supply breaker in the load center, not the breaker in the inverter.

If Fakeking tripped other breakers and/or damaged the "transfer bi" (ATS?), he/she probably has much larger problems than the inverter.

Some more info would be helpful to us, and pictures of what wires and where. You've possibly described problems with the transfer switch, the inverter and the 110V breaker box.

If you're not somewhat conversant with how these things work recommend you avoid touching things till you can do so safely.
