Show me your portable fans...

Sorry if this has been discussed before, my search came with poor results...

we have bunk beds and the kids needs some air circulation since it is somewhat enclosed... can anyone suggest a nice quiet clip-on or fixed fan that is around 4"-6" or so... do you have a fan that you just love? TIA...

or do you have any suggestions on circulating some of that air at top... I dont really want to carry a floor fan. Thanks...

Google "Lakewood 1002 High Velocity 4 inch desk fan". Lakewood is one brand they are sold under, there are others like Massey, etc. Prices range widely from apx $7 to $30 or more. I paid less than $10 ea for mmine. I have two of these I use primarily to pull heat from electronics compartments. They are compact, all metal, move a lot of air, and are not noisy. I have seen them in a number of different stores from Walmart to Lowes to discount/dollar stores, often in a variety of colors.

O2 Cool Fans sold at Walmart. They run on batteries or a 12 volt outlet. I wired it directly to one of my over lights so that it runs off the house battery. I put one up front in the overhang on our C and put one in the back bedroom.
