Shower cycles hot to cold

I winterized my motorhome this winter and now
On our first trip of the season we are finding the shower running from hot to cold while showering. The water goes from real cold to real hot the whole time we shower. Last summer we put a new water pump in. We camped dry camped a lot last summer. To winterized i open all the drain valves and remove the inlet and outlet to the water pump then close everything.

Did you do anything to the outside shower....leave the cold/hot knobs open ?

that can cause fluctuations in RV hot water temps

Did you CLOSE the water heater Bypass valve...if open it will cause fluctuations in RV hot water temps

Is this same temp fluctuations occurring at any other faucet.......not just shower?
If only at shower then suspect shower mixing valve is your problem

The valves are all in the right position. The other faucets don't have any restrictions in them like the holes I. The shower head. We are on our first trip of the season and I'll take the mixer apart when we get home. I've had the motorhome 6 years and you would think it would be obvious by now.

Mixer valves can be poorly behaved. A little scale or mineral build up in them can cause a would of trouble. I know.

I have a shut-off valve installed at the base of the shower head arm to allow quick on-off while soaping up and rise-off. When I turn the valve back on it would be very cold for a short while. That problem was solved totally by adding a inline check valve on the hot line close to the shower.

I had the same problem

The easy fix is just open the hot enough for a comfortable temp and flow (not all the way open). Then adjust for temp with the cold. The Winnebago tech on the phone several years ago said to adjust the pressure screw on the water pump. Well, mine is under the bed so it's hard to access. I haven't touched it- the above method still works- no pulsating hot/cold.

Yesterday I increased the pressure 1 turn and no problem. I installed a new pump last year. I thought it was in middle of our season. My wife informed me it was late in October and we didn't camp after it was installed. Got the instructions out and talks about increasing pressure to give the pump more down time between pump cycles. Works great this morning.
