"Signal cannot be decoded" when running electrical devices

I tried to search for answers on this issue, but came up empty handed. We are currently staying at a campground that provides DirectTV service via cable. We have noticed that when we run an electrical device, such as the water pic and the microwave, the signal often breaks up and goes to "signal cannot be decoded." We have tested this a few times and it's definitely related to the devices. Can anyone explain this? Thank you!!

The device's being used is putting false signals on your coax cable possibly.
