Simple Replacement for broken plastic ends on your blind pull cords

Those plastic doodads on the ends of the blinds cords get brittle with age and crumble.
Get small cable nuts without the wire inside. Use a drill bit just a little bigger than the pull cord in diameter to drill a hole thru from the open end of the cable nut. Hold the cable nut with a pliers--lightly.
Let the weight of the drill push the drill bit thru the cable nut. Do NOT force the drill or you will break the cable nut.
It helps if you rest the nut on scrap wood or any wood you don't care if it gets more holes.
Feed your cord thru from the formerly closed end, tie a small knot, and then slide your new cord end down on to the knot.

Rather than spend time looking for a supplier, then ordering the parts ($$ shipping, cost, and handling), then waiting for delivery, I improvised and didn't waste time and money and was able to use something I already had in my possession.

To each his own. Do your thing and I will do mine.
