Sink and bath are not draining

So our sink and bath are not draining to grey water tank. Grey water tank is empty, fresh water tank is full. Water just stays in the sink, but when grey water tank valve is opened to empty it, sink magically empties itself at the same time so I think there might be some pressure issue but how to solve it?

Pipes should be ok, we've been traveling for a month now and been careful not to put anything weird on sink. I opened pipes below sink and they are empty too.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I too suspect the vent is the problem!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

don't know what kind of RV you have but I'm gonna guess you have a stuck air admittance valve stuck under the sink.

Sink/bath drain when you open grey tank dump valve cause Air Admittance Valve is opening allowing venting of drain line
Sink/bath not draining is due to no venting going on for grey tank....air has to go OUT so liquids can flow IN......that is done by the tank vent

Go up on roof......take cap off
Push hose with nozzle down into vent line
Open grey tank dump valve and turn water to hose ON...flush vent line until clear water flows out dump line.
